Chili Goma Ebi
Ingredients
- Cooked shrimp (deveined & shell off) ; can be thawed from frozen
- Seaweed flakes/nori komi furikake
- Sesame oil
- Chili sauce/flakes
- Green onion
- Mirin
-if desired:
- Mayo/greek yogurt
- Avocado
- Sesame seeds
- Togaraishi
Directions
- Cut shrimp into small pieces
- Slice green onion
- Mix with seaweed, sesame oil, & chilli to taste
- Add a dash of mirin
- For a creamier texture (or to tone down the spiciness), add mayo or Greek yogurt
- If desired, chop avocado into pieces (roughly the same size of the shrimp)
- Add sesame seeds &/or togaraishi to taste
- Mix ingredients well. Eat cold on sushi rice, or hot on regular white rice. Salt to taste
- Allow to rest to allow flavours to meld
