Instant Pot Rice

“Standard” Jasmine long grain

Time is the same regardless of quantity. My preferred ratio: 1.25 to 1

  1. Rinse rice thoroughly
  2. Add water 1.25 times the amount of rice
  3. Set to Pressure Cook for 4 minutes
  4. When done, let sit for 10 minutes and then release pressure
  5. Serve!

Optionally add: 3 Tbsp Lime juice and 3/4 cup cilantro Use 1 can coconut milk + 1/4 cup water with 3 cups rice Saute garlic, ginger and or oil in pot before adding rice and water.

Wild Rice

1.5 to 1

  1. Rinse rice thoroughly
  2. Add water 1.5 times the amount of rice
  3. Pressure Cook 15 minutes
  4. When done, let sit for 10 minutes, and then release pressure
  5. Serve!

Short Grain

  1. Rinse rice
  2. Cover with water and let sit 20 minutes
  3. Drain
  4. 1:1 water to (dry) rice ratio
  5. Cook 2 min high, let natural release 10 min
  6. Remove
